Hello and Welcome to Mountain Vista Dental! My name is Dr. Evonne Nadelhoffer. I grew up in the remote town of Hayward, Wisconsin and hence got the nickname: Southern Canadian.

I attended undergraduate school and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I decided to go to Dental school when my mentor suggested it because I love to help people and I love science. The combination is perfect for me and I cannot imagine a different career path. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery from Marquette University in 2004. After completion of Dental school, I went on to do a General Practicioner’s Residency Program at the Clement J Zablocki Medical Center.

I transplanted to the gorgeous Pacific Northwest in 2008. I am blessed to be married to my native Trout Laker husband-Will Altig. I have one biological son Levi and two step children Aidan and Ava. Our wild family would not be the same without our two French bulldog brothers Bodie and Scout.. We are like all families who try to balance family, work, and fun. Our most enjoyable memories are often formed by chaotic moments!

I became an associate at Mountain Vista Dental in 2012 and purchased the practice in January of 2018. As any existing patient to our office knows, we are like family here! We take care of each other and our patients just the same way. So, welcome to the office and we look forward to keeping you dental healthy while making you laugh to relieve your anxiety and pain!

Hello. My name is Aileen and I am the dental hygienist at Mountain Vista Dental.

As a dental hygienist, it is my goal to provide the highest quality care to my patients and to educate them on maintaining good oral health as an ongoing team effort. I pride myself in making sure appointments are a comfortable and positive experience for each and every one of my patients. My dental team and I will learn your medical / dental history, listen to your concerns, and develop a plan to meet your dental needs. We encourage patients to ask as many questions as possible in order to make sure they are fully informed and involved in the personalization of their treatment plan. As a person, I value my relationships with others and thoroughly enjoy getting to know my patients both personally and professionally.

I graduated with an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from Clark College in 2009 and went on to complete my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University in 2010. I am licensed in both Washington and Oregon and certified to administer local anesthetics and complete restorative procedures.

Born and raised in Vancouver, WA, I settled in the Columbia gorge where I met my husband Jon who is a local to the Hood River Valley. We have 3 children from ages 2-7 years old. In my spare time, I enjoy jogging, biking, camping, sewing/quilting, and spending time with my husband and kids.

I was born and raised in SoCal. I started in the dental field at the age of 16 in my father's Orthodontic office. I then sold and trained medical/dental software for many years until moving up to the Northwest. I have been married 38 years and raised 4 children. We also raised 3 foster daughters and my niece.
I started working for Dr. Mathisen in 1988 and have been here through all the changes for 32 years now. I love my job and coworkers. We do have a wonderful family atmosphere I our office that makes working here fun. I have met such wonderful people along the way. Our patients are the best!!

I’m the patient care coordinator for Mountain Vista Dental with 39 years of dental experience. I’ve been coming to the Gorge for 20 years. Five years ago my husband and I relocated to Hood River. I can’t imagine a better place to work and play.
Hi, I’m Shelly. I’ve been with MVD for over 14 years, working the front office and assisting chair side. I’ve been married for 29 yrs. Have 2 boys both in the Airforce. And I’m NaNa to 2 grand boys. I love working with the people at Mountain Vista Dental.

Originally from the Central Oregon Coast, I’m pleased to have found home within the MVD family and White Salmon Community. I have a 10-year background in Medical Healthcare and made the transition to Dental in 2018. After working as a Front Desk Clerk for 2 years here at MVD, I am now a Registered Dental Assistant.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time on my small farm with my husband, daughter and our many farm animals. My pastimes include gardening, crafting, farming, attending country concerts and most of all- Laughing!

I am a Certified Dental Assistant here at MVD. This being the first office for me to assist with, I love it here, while keeping a close relation to each patient to learning new tips and tricks everyday I couldn’t ask to be apart of a better team!
I am an assistant at MVD. I was raised in this beautiful area. My husband and I are now raising our family here and enjoying every second of it. I have a medical background but I am new to the dental world. MVD is amazing place to begin this experience the office is extremely welcoming and friendly. I am excited to keep learning with this dynamic team.
